November Meal

There are a lot of events going on in November, so make sure you pay attention to the Upcoming Events. Our big event in November is our Thanksgiving lunch that a lot of families like to attend. This year the luncheon will be November 19th. We will do pre-sale tickets again, so the cafeteria staff will have an accurate number of meals to make. The cost of an adult meal is $5.20. We will send out forms next week with more information. We will also modify the lunch schedule that day.

Upcoming Events

  • 5th Grade Science Camp November 3-5
  • 4th Grade Field trip Nov 14
  • Thanksgiving Break Nov 24-28

Reading Logs and AR- a few reasons why:

  • Regular reading strengthens language skills, increases vocabulary, and improves understanding of complex texts. This translates directly to better performance in subjects that require reading comprehension (like literature, history, and even science).
  • Reading every night builds sustained attention and focus — skills essential for studying, note-taking, and test-taking.
  • Students who read regularly are more likely to develop curiosity and a love for learning. Exposure to diverse ideas, perspectives, and problem-solving methods fosters intellectual growth and adaptability.
