Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Jennifer Dossey
I have been employed with Brady ISD since August of 1997. My first year, I was a paraprofessional in the self contained special education classroom. I have held several other position in the district, including PPCD teacher, behavior specialist, autism specialist, self contained special education, and now I am the FOCUS room teacher. I LOVE my job and could not imagine doing anything else.
I have a passion for helping students that learn in different ways and/or need specialized tools to learn. I have started a sensory lab at Brady Elementary, which provides supplies normally only available to special education students to ALL students. This may include sitting wedges, wobble stools, weighted lap pads, behavioral strategies, and may more things.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 24 years. We have 5 children. Levi, 23, Taylor, 21, Kylee, junior, Colton, sophomore, and Macie, 2. As you can imagine they keep me busy. I am also the director FBBB color guard. In addition, I volunteer on various committees with in the community.
